Mexico City • After the eviction of more than 1,500 teachers from the Highway of the Sun on Friday, the National Coordinating Committee of Education Workers [CNTE] warned that a national strike is imminent.
"The State is still in a position to meet the just demands of the teachers, as the national situation is quite dangerous and don't be fooled, because Mexican teachers are one of the most sensitive parts of Mexican society."The outbreak of the national strike will be determined on Tuesday April 9, after negotiations with officials of the Secretariat of Government Relations [SEGOB].
