Milenio: Rogelio Agustín Esteban and Carolina Rivera
Chilpancingo, Guerrero • The State Coordinating Committee of Education Workers of Guerrero has ended the truce announced on Friday morning by its general secretary, Gonzalo Juárez Ocampo, and will resume mass mobilizations tomorrow.
Minervino Morán Hernández, CETEG spokesman, reported that they have redesigned the action plan that drives the organization in coordination with the Popular Movement of Guerrero, and basically it consists of mobilizing their bases to exert pressure.
At a press conference, Morán Hernández was joined by teachers from the central and mountain regions of the state. Gonzalo Ocampo Juárez was not present.
Hernández Morán said the truce was never agreed to by the teachers' assembly, and following the announcement, most participants expressed their disagreement with it.
The CETEG spokesman did not rule out the possibility that on Monday the Coordinating Committee members will go to the local Congress, where it is expected that governor Ángel Aguirre Rivero will deliver his second annual report. Spanish original
