52% of Mexican Women Would be Unfaithful to Their Partners, 77% of Men Would Also

Aristegui Noticias: Most Mexicans would be unfaithful if they knew that their partners were not going to find out, according to a questionnaire given by a dating site, hounters.mx, from 1,926 people who are either married or cohabiting.

Of the 687 women who answered the question "Would you be unfaithful to your partner if you know you'll never be caught?", 356 (52%) answered that they would have an affair.

For men, 77% (567 of 737 respondents) said they would be unfaithful to their partners if they had the chance and without being discovered.

Of the total respondents to the poll, 38% has been married or cohabiting from 11 to 20 years, 34% from 6-10 years 19% 0-5 years and 9% more than 20 years.

Regarding frequency of sexual encounters with their partners, 37% of respondents said they have sex at least once a week.

The question "Have you cheated on your partner?" was answered by 1,356 thousand people (591 women, 765 men) of which, 51% of women admitted to having had a relationship outside of marriage, 69% of men responded in the affirmative.

Of this percentage, 40% of women said that their relationship lasted "a few days" and 36% "overnight". For men, 35% of them admitted that their infidelity lasted only "one night". Spanish original
